We offer free, medical-grade urine pregnancy tests that detect hCG—the hormone produced during pregnancy. While an over-the-counter test is a strong indicator, only an ultrasound can confirm a viable pregnancy.
Why Is an Ultrasound Important?
A limited ultrasound can be performed as early as 5.5 weeks from your last menstrual period. This scan is the only way to:
- Confirm the pregnancy is inside the uterus.
- Detect and measure the baby’s heartbeat.
- Determine how far along you are with an estimated due date.
- Rule out an ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy occurring outside the uterus, which can be life-threatening).
Our limited ultrasounds provide essential information, but they do not diagnose fetal abnormalities or gender.
If You’re Considering Abortion
An ultrasound is a crucial step before making a decision. Many women are further along than they realize, and your pregnancy stage affects what options are available. For example:
- If you are over 11 weeks pregnant, you are not eligible for the abortion pill.
